While Inflammation is a natural process that helps your body heal and defend itself, it can be harmful if it becomes chronic. Acute inflammation may have noticeable symptoms such as redness, pain and swelling. In contrast, you can have chronic inflammation, lasting for weeks, months, or years may occur without any noticeable symptoms.
OK, so here’s the bad news… Chronic inflammation can lead to some serious illnesses such as diabetes, heart disease, fatty liver disease, and cancer.
But here’s the good news! Inflammation can be directly impacted by what we eat, and therefore we have the ability to actively reduce inflammation through food.
